Quilt Raffle!

The Fireworks Festival is raffling off this beautiful quilt that has been machine stitched to raise money for our Festival. All proceeds will be used to purchase fireworks for our amazing "Country Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks display. The quilt is a full sized quilt which will fit a double sized bed. It is done in beautiful shades of lavender, purple, tans and gold prints with a beautiful matching binding/trim. The quilt was donated by Hope Johnson, machine quilted by and the binding was put on by Ginny Ault.

The quilt is currently on display at The Tents of Grace Cafe in Gnaden and will be placed in the Commercial & Savings Bank lobby and the First Federal Bank of Dennison if you wish to view it.

Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets are available at Village Gift Shoppe in Gnadenhutten. For more info, contact Hope or Lori at 740-254-9530. The drawing will be held on Monday July 9th.

Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival Dates for 2012

The dates of this year's Fireworks Festival are July 6th & 7th with the fireworks and parade on Saturday the 7th. The schedule of events will be posted as soon as it is all set.

2012 Entertainment the Don Ray Band

Don Ray Band is an all original, Americana/Roots Rock band that is anchored by singer/songwriter Don Ray and is produced by Musician's Hall of Fame Guitarist, Will McFarlane (Bonnie Raitt, Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section). Jonathan Armstrong masters the keyboards and The Bandito Brothers Rhythm Section, Jamie McFarlane and Justin Holder, are at the helm of the band's groove. Guitarist Billy Smart has joined the touring band for their upcoming concert dates.

Through their many reviews, their musical collaborations have proven hard to put a single label on the results...which have been called everything from "Rockin' Blues" to "Southern Rock" to "Blue Eyed Soul" to "Rock N Southern Country Roll" by some of the nations most notable song writers. One thing all of these writers have agreed upon, however, is that their albums are refreshingly original and a pleasure to listen to over and over again.

The song This Is Our House was written by Don Ray and Jonathan Armstrong while on the road to John Hursey's Canal House music venue in Tuscarawas County, OH for a gig in 2011. The T-County area is Jonathan's home town and he wanted to write this song for the community of music loving people that he grew up around. This Is Our House is dedicated to the wonderful family of people in T-County and every community that has that special Roadhouse in which they gather and enjoy music together. Ain't nothin' better!

2012 Gnadenhutten Fireworks

Gnadenhutten's Fireworks Festival will be held on Friday July 6th and Saturday July 7th with the parade and fireworks on the 7th. Full schedule coming soon!

Plate & Mug Auction

We are very proud to announce our 1st Annual Plate & Mug Auction!

These amazing pieces of pottery were made by Whitewoman Pottery of Coshocton, Ohio.

The auction will be held on July 2 at 7:30pm on the stage at Heck's Grove Park.

Our auctioneer will be Ryan Wallick.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the Gnadenhutten Fireworks Fund.

We will be auctioning one hand made plate....

The design consists of the brick wall that can be seen from Rt. 36 that commemorates the founding of the village, along with fireworks and the colorful quilts that people have put down on the hillside for years to sit and watch this amazing fireworks display.

We will then auction off 5 hand made, signed and dated mugs.....

The design celebrates the Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival and features an americana barn star and fireworks.
