I just wanted to say that I completely feel as though that I was robbed at this years so called talent show. I did the hula hoop dancing first and for most, I was the only one to do anything like that, second I received applause during my performance, and third I have a unique talent and feel as though this so called talent show was basically judged on singing and that's pretty much it, I had numerous individual's approach me afterward and said you were the best, you should have won, and yet I received third place. I would just like to address the judge's in this matter I am very curious how you came to the decision of my performance being third place material? I had an act that was very original and unique unlike anyone you have probably ever seen at any festival. That's why I am a bit confused because I thought it was a show based on pure talent not the ability to do karaoke. I really think that the judge's should have really thought about this decision better and vote for new judge's in next years talent show. Other than myself there were a couple individuals that were pretty good as well and they did not even place I just do not understand how you could come up with these placements it is pretty confusing. My only guess is that you just didn't care or you just do not know true talent when you see it.
Fireworks this year were AMAZING! We had about a dozen guests from Dover with us on Saturday night, and they were so impressed. Thanks to the Festival committee for all of your hard work. It is APPRECIATED!!!
