Entertainment, Food, Rides & More.........
Blankets line the hillside a full day before the fireworks show, so that people make sure they have a good spot.

Gail Stull and Darryl Johnson, members of the newly formed Gnadenhutten Lions Club get ready to serve up some yummy food in the main concession stand!

The Newcomerstown Relay for Life group brought along the Unusual Junction County Jail to help raise money for a good cause! One of their first prisoners was last year's 2008 Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival Queen Hali Host.

Sumo Wrestling was a first for the Festival and was ran by the IV Biddy Wrestling Coaches.

Boy Scout Troup #429 sets up Putt Putt for family fun each year. John & Staci Schreiner watch their children Cole and Hallie play a round.

The IV Braves Cheerleaders sat on the dunking machine provided by USP Sandblasting & Painting of Gnadenhutten.

TimeOut Amusement provides the rides & Inflatables that are enjoyed by all the children.

The rock climbing wall is one of the favorite attractions.

Entertainment was provided by Doug Murphy....

2009 Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival Queen's Contest
This year's Queen contest had 4 contestants vying for the title of 2009 Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival Queen.
The festivities were held on the stage at Heck's Grove Park at 7:30pm on July 2. Each contestant had to give a speech on "What the 4th of July Means To Me". They were judged on their speaking capabilities, appearance and poise. Each contestant also had to answer an impromptu question.
Hali Host, our 2008 Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival Queen, helped crown the 2009 1st attendant Katie Cookson and the 2009 Queen Haley Bates. Both girls were presented with crystal crowns, sashes, crystal crown pins and trophies. Both girls also got to ride in this year's parade.
Once again, Mickey Bache was our emcee for the evening's festivities. The Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival committee would like to thank Mickey for helping us with these contests for the past several years.
