Queen's Contest, Baby Contest & Jr. Parade Marshal Contest......
We will be having the 4th Annual Gnadenhutten Firework's Festival Queen's contest at 7:00pm at the Indian Valley High School Auditorium this year. If you are a high school girl (Freshman-Senior) and attend Indian Valley High School and would like to vie for the title of Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival Queen please contact Lori or Hope at Village Gift Shoppe 740-254-9530 for more information.
Jr. Parade Marshal contest is open to boys and girls between the ages of 4-8 and must reside in the Indian Valley School district. Winners will receive a brand new bicycle donated by the Gnaden Marathon, a trophy, crowns, sash and get to ride in the parade on Saturday July 3rd. Application forms are available at Village Gift Shoppe.
Baby Contest contestants for the cutest baby contest must be age newborn-12 months and reside in the Indian Valley school district. Baby canisters will be placed in the Tents of Grace Cafe and Ice Cream Sweets & More. The baby with the most money collected in their canister will be the winner and receive a $50 savings bond and second highest will be the 1st runner up. Both babies will receive a trophy, a sash and get to ride in the parade along with one parent. For more info, call VGS at 740-254-9530.

Gnadenhutten Tomahawk Trot 5K Road Race
The Gnadenhutten Tomahawk Trot Road Race will be held Saturday July 3rd, 2010 at Heck's Grove Park. The Race starts at 8:30am. Registration and t-shirt pick-up begins at 7:30am at the pavillion across from the restrooms.
Proceeds Help Fund the Annual Village Fireworks Display.
For July 4th weekend, the Fireworks Festival Committee is once again hosting a 5K road race through the streets of historic Gnadenhutten. Race begins and ends at Heck's Grove Park and includes a loop through the Moravian Mission Settlement. This is the 2nd annual race and the course record is 17:31.
Awards will be given to the top 20 runners. Top 5 will receive trophies, places 6-10 receive gold medals, places 11-15 receive silver medals, asn places 16-20 receive bronze medals. Sorry, no cash awards this year.
Entry fee is a flat fee of $15. First 50 registrants will receive a t-shirt. Entry forms can be picked up at Village Gift Shoppe or from Jim Schumacher. For more information, contact Jim at jrccschu@aol.com or call Village Gift Shoppe at 740-254-9530.

Corn Hole Tournament Information
The Corn Hole Tournment will be held on Saturday July 3rd at 10:00am. Registration begins at 9:30am at Hecks's Grove Park. Cost is $20 per person-$40 per team the day of or $15 per person/$30 per team if you pre-register. You can get pre-registration forms by calling Village Gift Shoppe at 740-254-9530 or Aaron & Angie Kochman at 740-254-4765 starting June 21st. Winners will get half of whatever the registration brings in. Proceeds will go to the Valley Force Girls Softball team & the Gnadenhutten Fireworks Festival.
